I remember being 8 years old and paging through the JCPenney Wish Book. I always turned right to the toy kitchen sets - it was the only present I ever wanted from Santa!

As I got older and became a teenager, I always found myself redecorating my room and beginning to think about studying interior design upon graduation, and so I did.

In 2006, I decided to start my interior design business. I started out doing interior decorating and eventually began to get requests for designing kitchens and bathrooms.

I'll never forget the day when my passion for kitchen design truly surfaced.  I was in HomeGoods shopping for a client and I passed by a child’s toy kitchen. It had a beautiful marble backsplash, white cabinets and black countertops.  That moment suddenly took me back to the moment where the 8-year-old girl was looking at kitchen sets in the wish book!  

That passion motivated me to go to work for a kitchen and bath showroom.  I did that for a number of years and it has enabled me to gain a great deal of experience. 

So here I am today, an independent designer and business owner. I’m very excited because I now have the complete freedom to best meet a client’s needs.  I can now truly create and complete the whole vision and make a client’s dream a reality.
